Freshman midfielder Sarah Kennedy scored the Lynx first goal on a deflection of
Hillary Relyea's penalty corner shot twenty minutes into the first half of play. Her goal was followed by a fast break score by first year player Chelsea McLeod just 22 seconds later. Both teams battled evenly though the remainder of the game with Hendrix scoring with only a minute and a half to play. Rhodes out shot Hendrix 15-7 while the Warriors held a 9-7 advantage in penalty corners opportunities. The Lynx (9-1, 2-1 SCAC) hit the road next weekend for conference matches at Centre (Friday 10/10, 5 pm) and at DePauw (Sunday 10/12, 11 am).
